In this role, the Graphic Designer will work closely with business analysts and developers to bring clients’ visions to life. Their designs will play a crucial role in ensuring a streamlined and visually appealing user experience for the company’s software solutions.
– Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
– Develop visual concepts that align with the client’s brand and message.
– Create designs for various media, including digital (websites, social media, email marketing) and print (brochures, flyers, posters).
– Utilize graphic design software to produce high-quality graphics.
– Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
– Coordinate with team members to ensure cohesive project execution.
– Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency.
– Present design concepts and prototypes to clients for feedback.
– Make revisions based on client input and iterate designs until final approval.
– Conduct research to understand current design trends and competitor designs.
– Prepare design files for print or digital publication, ensuring technical specifications are met.
– Create user-friendly interfaces for websites and mobile applications.
– Prototype and test designs to improve user interaction and engagement.
– Address design challenges and find creative solutions.
– Continuously update skills and knowledge in graphic design through courses, workshops, and industry events.
– Stay informed about new design technologies and software updates.
1) Bachelor’s degree in Graphics design or related field
2) Company Branding
– Graphic Design Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
– Branding Knowledge: Understanding of brand identity, color theory, typography, and logo design.
– Creativity: Ability to conceptualise and execute original ideas for company branding materials.
– Attention to Detail: Ensuring brand consistency across all visual outputs.
3) App Design (UX Included)
– UX/UI Design Skills: Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
– User-Centered Design: Knowledge of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
– Responsive Design: Ability to design for various devices and screen sizes.
– Basic Understanding of HTML/CSS: Familiarity with front-end development principles to better collaborate with developers.
Ideal candidate will have exposure to as many as possible of the following:
– Figma
– Adobe XD
– Adobe After Effects
– Adobe InDesign
– Adobe Illustrator
– Canva
